Creating and building a design with inkXE is easy. Please scroll below to know how this product customizer works.

The designer studio is an extension(plugin) for Magento. Assuming your store url is www.abc.com
Once the inkXE designer tool plugin is installed on your Magento store, inkXE pulls the products along with their details from the Magento store. One can also define which products from the store can or can not be customized by the users. An option is added Magento Admin “Show in Designer”. If this option is set to “Yes” then for that product is Customizable. You access the inkXE Designer Admin www.abc.com/designer-admin, and it allows you to set the print area, configure price rules, define printing methods, load more artworks, fonts, printable colors, language, currency, and other settings. Once you save all the settings, a new ‘Customize’ button appears automatically on your product detail page of your store frontend, which customers will use to design the product within the specified configurations. After a successful checkout of a customized order, the production files are generated in www.abc.com. You can download those print ready production files of designs from the Magento Admin or inkXE Designer Admin or inkXE Desktop Order management software (OSX and Windows). You may choose a channel that you find convenient to download the production files. inkXE designer studio does not demand any changes to Magento core files. Being a self hosted solution the codes, database and user assets are stored in your server, www.abc.com. That is completely white label.

inkXE_Admin allows you to manage products, set print area, configure price rules, define printing methods, upload artworks, fonts, printable colors, language, currency, and other settings.

Once you save all the settings, a new ‘Customize’ button appears automatically on your product page, which your customers will use to design the product within the specified configurations. Finalized items move to “Order Page”.
