Screens can be exposed employing various ways, either by directing ultraviolet light or using sunlight as the sole light source. Today, we are going to learn about the various ways you can. Laying the clothes directly under the sunlight is a great option as there is no better source for UV light than the sun. You can sandwich the clothes between glass, film positive, screen, foam, and screen frame.

Using unfiltered blacklight is also a great idea which is like traditional fluorescent tubes. These lights are very close to the glass on such exposure units. However, make sure to use a professional unit and a compact tabletop as well. If you are making one at home, you can substitute grow lights for unfiltered blacklights.

Another great option is the quartz halogen! Most work lights are quartz halogen lights. This is a great light source that is often used in homebuilt exposure units which are set up just like the sunlight exposure using a quartz halogen bulb.
